Oh sweet pals, its been so long, I know! But I promise today you are in for a BIG and COLORFUL post. I have been meaning to post my new Art Journal Challenge for 2017 for so some time now, but I am just now getting around to it.
Royal & Langnickel Ambassador Oana Befort is a freelance graphic artist, focusing largely on watercolors and sketch work. Her beautiful pieces always feature intricate detail and she’s given us a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her process creating one of her latest illustrations with her favorite Royal & Langnickel brushes.
Art has always been a central part of Royal & Langnickel ambassador Courtney Pilgrim’s life. That passion has been expressed in different ways throughout her life, from teaching art to working as a content marketer to creating products based on her own artwork. We recently asked Courtney about how she continues to stay inspired and about her life as a working artist.
Royal & Langnickel ambassador Jennifer Song Kim has always been artistic, but she never planned on doing art for a living, instead going to college for economics. Discovering a watercolor paint palette in her parents' basement changed all that, though, and led her to find her true passion–watercolor lettering.

Royal & Langnickel ambassador Cassie Stephens loves sharing her passion for art with her students, and her latest lesson plan is no exception. Inspired by a beautiful piece of street art she saw in her hometown of Nashville, she had her students create their own version of Kelsey Montague’s #whatliftsyou mural.
